What we store

The page content you publish (name, bio, colors, links, and settings) is stored on our hosting provider keyed by your chosen identifier. Uploaded avatar images are converted to WebP and stored on a third-party image host (catbox.moe).

What stays on your device

An edit key that lets your browser update the page you created, and a count of link clicks you make, are stored locally in your browser. They are not sent to or held by us.

Accounts

mewhere has no accounts. There is no login, email, or password. Edit access to a page is tied to the edit key in the browser that created it.

Third parties

Avatar uploads pass through catbox.moe, which has its own privacy practices. If you enable Google Analytics on your page, that service may collect visitor data according to its own policy.
